So what to do first?
Druids Temple
This is one of Yorkshire's quirkiest follies, situated in the woods enjoying a fabulous location with breathtaking views. Within the woodland there are a number of other standing stones, which is perfect for families. The temple is just a short walk from Bivouac's reception, and easy to find with a public footpath.
Mountain Biking
This is the real family fun activity! Try out where the Tour de France on its route runs through Swinton Estate. Theres many tracks available from steep moorland to winding country lanes, all with incredible views. Bikes are available for hire from the Bivouac Visitor Centre along with maps of our bike trails. Rucksack picnics can also be made to order for you and your family to enjoy along the way.
