Back in March we were thrilled to announce we’re now being stocked in 20 stores in South Korea!
Our hats blend good quality materials with cool design and practical design features. We love to see the amazing way you style up our kids hats
To celebrate Children’s Day in Japan & South Korea we thought it would be nice to look at the stylish kids’ brands being worn by Little Hotdogs on that side of the world:
For a mix of statement pieces and everyday essentials, then Little Stella is the one. A pop-up brand designing for budding fashionistas who like something a little bit different and are used to turning heads.
LALA is bringing together of two brands and forming Lala ambitious Korean kids brands under the same umbrella. Known for their playful and cute clothing range for young boys and girls up to age 7. All products in made in Korea, with slouchy oversized cuts and muted colours being a signature look. Their signature style is the bunny onesie. You can now purchase on the Greenberry website Expect lots of snuggly looking designs making your little ones even cuddlier!
Another funky favourite is Blue Dog, well-known for their playful kids clothing, newborn sets and interior accessories (perfect for their first bedroom). We’re loving this stripe pinafore dress and perfect summer shirt. The dog’s pretty cute too!
For new-borns and toddlers, Mink Mui is another brand worth a look. Their typically gender-neutral colour palette makes most of their collection fun and versatile – although they do love a feminine ditsy print - and their clothing is made from 100% cotton too, always a plus.
Another brand doing bold colours and playful prints – the perfect combo for kids clothing if we do say so ourselves! Hakka baby are a Japanese kids boutique who stock their own designs too. These gender-neutral shorts and jacket look like a lot of fun.
The original Sayegusa store was founded over 148 years ago as a speciality kids concept store, this beautifully collated shop stocks top of the range baby and children’s designs – all with an elegant and traditional feel. Expect classic cardigans, smock dresses and linen shirts all in kids’ sizes – this delightful rain coat is one of their more contemporary designs and our favourite from their recent collection.
Sadly, buying direct from most of these brands is tricky online… but if you are planning an Asian adventure anytime soon – you know what to look out for!

After growing up in the North-west of England, Emma’s love of travel and style saw her career move to London with a fashion + business degree, first working as a trend researcher then menswear buyer for some of the most famous stores in the UK.
In 2015, having had her first baby she moved to Norwich to explore a family life closer to beaches and the countryside. Becoming a parent she found herself in a world of kidswear that didn’t look good or perform for the type of fresh air fun as a family so she set about creating her own brand. Little Hotdog Watson was born in 2016. The summer and winter hats for kids and adults, jam-packed with innovative protective technology have gone on to win awards, grace the pages of magazines, like Vogue, Grazia, Independent, Mother and Baby and celebrities alike.
Emma had another daughter in 2019 and became a lecturer in Fashion and Business at Norwich University of the Arts. She continues to design hats at her dining room table and share her passion to help families get outside more and explore the world. Here is one of her favourite outside blogs; 15 games adults will love playing with kids
