Ways to beat the January Blues
January seems to last forever, doesn't it? 🫠 January can often feel like a very slow and long month after all the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
As we're only half way through we're here to bring you fun things to do with your little ones to help beat the January blues.
Get some fresh air 🍃
The days are short in January so it's important to get outside whenever you can. An early morning stroll to school can help all the family feel a little better on the weekdays. A longer walk on the weekend is a great way to get outdoors, whatever the weather.
Try out something new 🎿
Take up a new hobby or try out something new as a family. It can be something ambitious or you can keep it super simple. Such as learning a new sport together or something as simple as learning how to play a new card game together.
Get something in the diary ✍🏻
Schedule in a fun weekend away or holiday so you and the little ones have something to get excited for and look forward too.
Slow it down 🧘🏽
Make your 2025 a happier and more mindful year. Slow down, discover meditation (why not with your children?), practice gratitude or simply try to stay present as often as you can.
Get creative 🎨
Making crafts together is so relaxing and satisfying. It's fun, relaxing and develops motor skills. Get outdoors and try out a new craft.
Get moving 🏃🏽♀️
Long walks or exercising at home are a great way and inexpensive way to improve your wellbeing and can provide entertainment for the whole family. It is also a great way to spend some quality time with each other.
