Cool Kids Ski Wear

It’s still ski season and thankfully there are some fantastic stylish ski wear options for kids around at the moment.

We’ve rounded up the coolest and the best kidswear brands to share with you but first some top tips. Consider bright colours to help your little ones stand out and be seen easily. Consider easy pockets especially for older children and keeping passes. Look out for detachable hoods in case of falls and stopping from catching the snow! Lots of other tips coming up too.

Ski Suits

First up kids Ski Suits and so many to choose from. Hot on the scene is Dinoski Wear. Started by three friends this brand puts the fun into ski suits with a playful take on animals. There suits are also made from recycled plastic bottles so with an extra bonus. The panda suit, £185 is our fave and goes perfectly with Little Hotdog Watson’s Arctic Cub Panda Hat.

Next up is kid fashion brand Molo. There wind and waterproof suits also have reflective trim perfect for evening. The Polarais option at £130 has a detachable hood and goes perfectly with our Space Bunny Hat.

Thermals

Layering up is key but how do you do it in a stylish way. Choose these beautiful block coloured thermals from Reima. This canary yellow is a real statement, made using technical yarn to keep moisture away from the body and in sizes from 1-2 years up to teenagers. Other colours also available £39. The yellow also goes perfectly with the trim on Arctic Cub Toucan Play winter hat.

Ski Socks

The longer the better to keep in extra warmth. These merino wool extra long socks from Muddy Puddles are perfect and we can’t help but love the lightning flash just like our logo :) £14

Gloves

There are two schools of thought around a tie being helpful for keeping them on little hands or if it’s just extra faff. Kids inevitably will fall over and so to prevent snow getting into the gloves choosing a longer glove that finishes inside the ski suit is best. Polaryn Pyret have a few different options. These ones at £24 come in three colours but they also have a knitted cuff to help stay on.

Ski Trousers

For little ones these cool ski trousers from Isbjorn are also really well considered design. They finish above the waist preventing drafts getting in under jackets and are padded with primaloft so are warm and not heavy as well as being windproof, waterproof and stain resistant. Currently on sale £95

The colour co-ordinates really well with the Arctic Cub in Banana Split print winter hat!

Ski Jackets

So many options and quite a wide range of price points! Top tip look for something longer that covers the top of trousers. Short jackets will inevitably rise up when they bend and fall and can let the cold in more easily.

Starting with premium brand Perfect Moment prices start from £280 up to £400 but if you love to make a style statement the range of options and the quality of these are second to none.

Molo Striped Kids Ski Jacket

At the opposite end of the scale Swedish brand keeps it simple and minimal with their longer line ski jacket at £54 while still considerate of the internal details such as extra warmth around the middle.
